Motley Crue 1981

Motley Crue performing the song “Merry Go Round” at the Country Club on 10/2/81, off their debut album entitled Too Fast For Love, which was released in November of the same year.
As the story goes, Nikki Sixx wrote the tune about a real life family man that lost his mind due to life’s pressures. The young bassist/songwriter had actually witnessed him riding endlessly on a neighborhood merry-go-round, looking as if he had totally gone insane.
