On July 23, Jani Lane- who was found dead on Thursday in a Los Angeles-area hotel — took part in a taping of an upcoming episode of the "That Metal Show" alongside Michael Sweet (Stryper) and Taime Downe (Faster Pussycat). The program featuring Lane was originally scheduled to premiere on October 1 on VH1 Classic but has now had its air date moved up to August 27.
"The Very Hairy Rock Show", which airs on 96 Rock radio station in Raleigh, North Carolina, conducted an interview with Sweet yesterday about his meeting with Lane.
