KISS Books

Kiss has announced that Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are working on another book about the band. This one, titled Nothin' to Lose, will be an oral history of the band's early years, from its start in 1973 to the 1975 release of their breakthrough album, Alive!

The book will also include interviews with the other two original members, guitarist Ace Frehley and drummer Peter Criss, as well as others. It will be published next summer.
Ace Frehley will publish his autobiography, No Regrets: A Rock 'n' Roll Memoir, on 11/1/11. Peter Criss plans to publish his next year. Gene Simmons wrote KISS and Makeup in 2001, and Criss's first wife, Lydia, published Sealed with a KISS in 2006. That leaves Paul Stanley as the only member yet to write one.
