R.I.P. to the Members of Lynyrd Skynyrd
Thirty-four years ago yesterday (10/20), a plane carrying Lynyrd Skynyrd crashed in Mississippi, killing singer Ronnie Van Zant and guitarist Steve Gaines as well as four others. Ronnie’s brother, Johnny Van Zant, took on his role as the band’s frontman in 1987. He spoke to us about what October 20th is like for him.
