Amy Winehouse still selling

Amy Winehouse - who died a year ago Monday (7/23/11)  and her legacy has continued to live on Billboard's charts. Winehouse has sold 855,000 albums since her death in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan. She moved 58,000 in all of 2010 and 44,000 in 2011 before she died. (In the eight days following her death, she sold 110,000 albums.) 
 In terms of digital song downloads, she has moved 1.15 million in the U.S. since dying. Again, that's an enormous figure when stacked next to what she sold in the time immediately before death: 170,000 downloads in 2011 (pre-death) and 239,000 in all of 2010. (In the eight days after her death, she sold 281,000 songs.)
