Stone Temple Pilots have dumped their singer Scott Weiland.
In a one-paragraph statement published on the S.T.P. website, the band wrote 'Stone Temple Pilots have announced they terminated Scott Weiland. No further information is available at this time'.
Weiland recently announced dates for his new band Scott Weiland & The Wildabouts starting March 1 in Flint, MI. but says his sacking from Stone Temple Pilots came as a surprise.
