R.I.P. "The Loop FM"

Chicago rock station WLUP FM will switch formats to Christian music Saturday under new owners. 

 97.9 FM "The Loop" posted on Facebook on 3/6/18... 

  Yes, it's true. Thank you, Chicago, for rocking *us* for the past 41 years. If you're looking for us in the meantime, we'll be over at the bar. And even though the Loop will be going off the air, remember what Ozzy said: "You can't kill rock and roll."
