Totaled

A 2018 Chevy Camaro was totaled after a man drove it off South Shore Drive into the Rock River on 4/25/18. Two men were in the car, the owner sat in the passenger seat while he let his friend test drive it. The owner told police that his friend "wasn't able to handle the power." After losing control and plunging the Camaro into the water, both men were able to swim back to shore. A tow truck was able to pull the two-day-old car from the river, but it's a complete loss.
